Winter in Berlin can be Hell, especially when you are detoxing from the summer's hedonic festivities and this is just when Kid606 was so inspired by the icy gloom and doom to create "Gimme Summer", an uplifting and dynamic combination of nostalgic synth-pop, warm shoegazey IDM and propulsive Hip-hop beats.

After falling in love with Claude Speeed's remix of Kuedo's "Work, Live & Sleep In Collapsing Space" on Planet-mu, we wanted to work with him ASAP and are beyond pleased with his equally spacey and indulgent seven minute epic remix of Gimme Summer.

Newest Tigerbeat6 Signee Magic Panda from the mystic hinterland of Norfolk, UK gets all ethereal and uplifting on his Lo-fi Techno remix of "New Boss Same As Old Boss".

Avant Garde/Darkwave/Indie rock icons Xiu Xiu (Kill Rock Stars, Polyvinyl, Bella Union) provide a somber toned down Mix reminiscent of Brock Van Wey, Main and Flying saucer attack.

The Last three tracks are exclusive to this release and are Kid606's musical interpretations on the rest of the four seasons using the same studio setup he used to make Gimme Summer.
